Why can't I read the entire subject line on emails?

I can't read the entire subject line on emails

When I receive an email with a long subject line I can't read the who
E thing. I have to open it on my laptop. Is there a way to have the entire subject line show no matter how long it is?

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone, and which email app? Can you use the Gmail app?
