Why isn't my Internal Memory showing on my PC?

Internal Memory not showing on PC

I have Android 4.4.3 installed. My phone as 16gb internal memory which seems to be split into 2. When I plug the phone into the PC it shows 2 removable disks, 1 showing 1.30gb total storage which I can access. The it shows another removable disk but its greyed out and I can access why is that? Now when I want to copy a movie from my pc to phone I only have 1.17gb free where's the rest of the memory? Help

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? When you connect via USB, swipe the notification panel down and tap the USB connection notification. Is it set to MTP?
