How can I fix software update?

A

AC Question

I had previously rooted my phone but for a prior update i removed the root and it was able to update over the air and haven't had a problem since this new update for my Verizon GS5 I have a screenshot.

I have tried multiple times to update it. If it is possible I can upload the new software to the device that would be great to.

Thanks in advance!

On the 6th it failed. On the 8th, you rejected it. You should be able to update it now (Settings/General/About device/Software update.

Accept it. If it fails again, you might have to manually flash your current ROM (after backing up all your apps and data). "Removing" root doesn't undo all the changes that were made while the phone was rooted, it just removes su and the superuser app. If a new update is looking for something the older update wasn't looking for, and it's still on your phone, the update will "fail" (it's really just saying "this phone has been rooted at one time, so I'm not risking bricking it").
