Ported my galaxy s3 from Verizon to Cricket. Internet painfully slow. Help, please.

One week ago, I changed providers from Verizon Wireless to Cricket Wireless. The rep at Cricket installed a new SIM card, and everything works fine but my internet is very very slow, and the icon at the top of the screen has two small arrows (one pointing up and the other pointing down) with a capital E above the arrows.

I've read on here that the APN settings may be incorrect, but mine say exactly what most of the suggestions are. How do I get my s3, that had always had great 4g service with VZW, to get 4g service with Cricket? Appreciate your help.

The E stands for Edge, aka 2G which is pretty pokey by today's standards. Cricket is slow anyway, 8mbps max, but even that is much faster than 2G. Go back to Cricket. Also go to this site and make sure your phone is fully compatible with Cricket.
