LG G3 S can't play MP3

[AC Question]

I bought LG G3 today, and I wanted to transer some of my music to it. I connected it to my laptop via the USB cable, and tried to copy MP3 files to the Internal Memory/Music.

I got the warning that the files will be copied, but it won't be possible to open them, because my device doesn't support that format!

How can I fix that?

Welcome to Android Central! Try copying one of them over as a test, and see if it can be played.

Where did you get the mp3's from? Did you rip them from a CD, or purchase them somewhere? I wonder if there could be some DRM attached.
