Unnable to use custome notification sounds?

Just got my s6 today, and I simply hate the lame tones it has. and want a mp3 song or something as notification tone. This option seems gone?

Had no problem doing this with the ring tone, but cant get the text tone to use mp3 files.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you copying the mp3 to the Notifications directory (/storage/sdcard0/Notifications)? How are you moving the mp3 there? I was doing this on my Nexus 5 recently, and found that if I downloaded an mp3 using mobile Chrome (which goes to the Downloads folder), then used a file manager app to move that file to the Notifications folder, the system didn't recognize it. However, if I downloaded the mp3 to my computer, then copied it directly to the Notifications folder (via USB or a wireless file transfer solution), then it's recognized immediately.
