Hi MY Grand Duo is automatically restarting and not moving ahead of the Samsung page

While I was replying to one of the email, my phone froze and then did not get back. Since then it has been restarting itself. I have removed the Battery put that in for 2 to 3 times now but noththing has helped

Perhaps it needs a new battery?
