    I have a Nexus 5 phone, which had the default Google keyboard. in the keyboard settings, under "Preferences" I have chosen "Vibrate on Keypress" . However the keyboard does not still vibrate when I press the keys

    Welcome to Android Central! Do other vibrations work? If not, it's possible the vibration motor failed.

    The phone vibrates on incoming call. But does not vibrate on screen touch, or on keyboard keypress.

    All setting / prefernces are for 'vibration on'

    Just to be sure, have you already gone to Settings>Sound & Notification>Other Sounds‚Äč, and made sure Vibrate on Touch is turned on?
