IP Camera Apps - data usage
Help please ; I am confused by common sense and the evasive answers I get from app publishers.
With an Android app, such as "Alfred" or "WebofCam"
a) is the "camera" device using any more than a nominal amount of Data when its app is running (like all day!) but no viewer app on that Network and login is running?
b) if a viewing device has the app running and an active camera device connected, will the viewer device's app continue to poll the camera and so consume substantial streaming data, when the app is running in Background, or will it only stream data when active in Foreground?
Can anyone clarify this for me please?
