Why all of a sudden has my phone muddled the order or my photos?

Right, so basically before the latest update for my Sony Xperia z3, my photos were all in order and how I wanted them. After the update, quite a few of my photos had the date changed all the the 20th April and are now mixed up in random orders. Is there any way I can change the date back to what it was without having to use another app? Its really annoying....

Not that I can think of. It sounds like the update had an issue when installing and it messed those things up.

If the phone is rooted, you can run the touch command from a shell:

# touch -d '2015-1-1 23:10' filename.jpg

and it'll change the file date of the file to 1-1-2015 at 23:10.

Or you can use an app like File Timestamp https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...gsoftwares.filetimestamp&hl=en&token=D9icEzJy to change all files' last modified date to the Exif date.
