OK google detection not working outside app Galaxy S6 Edge

When I first got the phone it worked perfectly. At some point of time it stopped working. Checking the Google app I see that the voice option is only available from the app. Even retraining the voice model disappeared. How can I get it back?!

Welcome to Android Central! Open the Google Settings app, tap Search & Now>Voice>"Ok Google" Detection, and make sure "From any screen" is turned on.

I'm also having the issue and the option for from any screen is not available
