my s4 was just finishing an update and got a pop-up

I got a pop up that says - Unfortunately package access helper has stopped. My screen is half black can't adjust the volume, email and messaging screens look different. Reboot doesn't help, now what??How do I get the update to finish?

Welcome to Android Central! Uh-oh, that sounds a bit ominous. By half-black, do you mean one half of the screen appears non-functional?

Try booting into Recovery and wipe the cache partition: http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-5744
