Battery life on S6 Edge is draining quick and charging slow, what could the problem be?

Just recently switch over from an iPhone because I saw nothing but positive reviews on this phone through youtube lol. I left my s6 edge on the "fast" adaptive charger for like 3 hrs straight and it only went from 14% to 33%. Am I the only one having this problem? i don't want to refund this phone because i love the features on it and the freedom but battery is really important to me
