    Welcome to Android Central! First, you'd have to make sure the phone is carrier unlocked. Current Verizon phones are all supposed to be unlocked, but older ones might not be. And I've had issues with Verizon in the past where they said they unlocked a phone for a global SIM, and it just didn't work. So I would ask Verizon first.

    Next, you have to make sure the phone is compatible with the UK carrier's network. Check the bands that the carrier uses, and make sure they match the phone's. See this post: http://forums.androidcentral.com/ver...ml#post2858656
