AC Question
Hi guys' I've spent hours trying to find a a question similar to mine and solutions that would work, but its hard for me to know which solutions are really the relevant ones for my issue.
here's what happened
I have a nexus 4, it fell and the screen cracked. the touch screen stopped working, and even thoguh the buttons worked like volume and power button, and i could see that my phone Would work, i couldnt access anything because of the touch screen ( <--i dont think other hardware was damaged)
I bought a new screen and replaced the screen by myself- to do so i had to entirely disassemble and reassemble the phone.
when i finished reassembling it and turning it on, it wouldn't get past the four-circles boot animation part- the little dots just kept circling each other like, forever. i tried leaving it for hours and it still stayed there.
i looked on forums, and found how to do a factory reset, which i did.
Now however, the phone still doesnt turn on. all that happens is it goes to google screen, and then the four dots circling each other, but then instaed of conitnuing that over and over it just sort of gives up and turns off.
any ideas what the next step would be? i super wouldn't want to have to buy a new phone after already investing in the new screen....
thanks so so much!!!
