Interrupted Android 5.0 download update and apps are crashing, how can I fix?

I need help! I just got the OTA update for Android 5.0 on my Ulefone Be Pro and I made the mistake of taking the battery out and back in because I thought it was stuck in the off position. So I believe I interrupted the download and now whatsapp, facebook messenger and youtube are not working. They crash and I can't message people. Do I have to reinstall lollipop and if so how do I do it? or is there a simpler fix?

Welcome to Android Central! Shutting down a device in the middle of a system update is never a good thing. You could try posting on the Elephone forum to see if someone there could help you figure out how to re-flash the factory image: Service and technical support - Elephone forum,Elephone service,P10,P7Mini,P9,P8,P7

Or bring the phone into the carrier and ask if they can reflash the update. (Flashing the factory image will wipe out all your data and downloaded apps, updating won't.) Just tell them that the battery died during the update. (Otherwise it's an overt act so it's not even covered under the warranty, and they could consider the warranty void.)
