How do enable group messaging on my Galaxy S6?

I can't send a group message to my friends. Everyone will receive my message individually. And same thing when they group message with me. I thought it was a problem with my carrier but they assured me that there are no problems on their end. Is anyone else having this problem?

Group messaging works in one of 2 ways, depending on your messaging app and how you have it set. Some apps allow you to decide between individual messages and MMS, some don't. Receiving the message individually should work, as long as all the other recipients are listed, so the reply goes to all of them.

I'm not using a texting app. Just my stock messages.
