This update is completely unacceptable. I was doing something on my phone and the update notification popped up without warning in the middle of my work and I accidentally hit accept. I did not want to update it without first seeing what others thought about it. The update has brought me countless issues that were present before. The touch screen is extremely buggy now and it has caused typing to become a nightmare. I also have sensitive eyes and all of the black backgrounds in settings, clock, etc were changed to a blinding solid white or baby blue. Using the phone at night is now impossible. Please tell me how to get rid of this joke of an update. Thank you.

Welcome to Android Central! You can't easily roll back updates. The best I can suggest is to try and flash the KitKat ROM via Odin: http://forums.androidcentral.com/amb...interface.html. Find the exact firmware for your phone here: Firmwares - SamMobile

Unless it's an AT&T or Verizon - I'm not risking my phone to find out, but I don't think you can "downdate" a major version, like 5 to 4.

That's a good question. I've suggested this numerous times to members, and I don't think I've gotten a reply that it didn't work--but that doesn't mean anyone actually tried it. I do seem to recall at least a couple of people saying it was successful (to downgrade from Lollipop to KitKat).
