Android native Files explorer has gone missing?

I have a Droid MAXX on Verzion running android 4.4.4.

There used to be an app called "Files" that was a file explorer, I used it many times.

Today when I went to copy out some photos the app wasn't listed in the app list, and doesn't appear in the app list (including disabled apps) from in the settings.

Has this gone missing for anyone else? How do I get it back?

Welcome to the forums. There may have been an update that removed the file exploring app. You can download a different one, I use ESFile Explorer. Works very well.
