SD Card Not Read

While transferring files over to my SD card I received a phone call. After the call ended the device froze. I pulled the battery and did a reset. However, the device no longer reads my SD card, and when I try to transfer an app to it, I get a message to insert an SD card. Any ideas on why my Note 4, lollipop software, is now unable to read or use the SD card that's been in it for 6 months?

The file transfer may have been interrupted inappropriately, which might have corrupted the card. Go to Settings>Storage--if the card doesn't register, then remove it. If the card still registers, make sure to Unmount first. Then insert the card into your computer's SD reader and run chkdsk to look for bad sectors: http://forums.androidcentral.com/amb...d-sd-card.html
