Nexxus 9 stuck on boot screen after installing system update. Help?

I started the update this morning and when it went to reboot the system is stuck on the reboot screen (swirling colored balls.) I can shut it off pressing the power and volume key but it starts again and stays on this screen.

Are you able to Power Off, then boot into Recovery? If so, a Cache Partition wipe may help.
