Why doesnt my phone have access point names?

I recently moved from Wisconsin to south korea, after trying to put a Korean sim card into my galaxy s5, they told me theres no access point names option, sure enough when I go into settings> more networks> there is no access point names option. I looked at my buddies galaxy s5 and his has an option to select access point names but mine doesn't. wondering why this is and if there is anything I can do about it. Thanks
