Why is my Samsung galaxy note 4 duos phone battery draining so fast?

I bought a Samsung galaxy note 4 duos only 2 weeks ago and the battery is already draining very fast. It goes from 30% to 10% in 5 minutes, and then from 10% to 0% in 1 minute.

Any ideas? is it hardware or software?

Welcome to Android Central.

Whatever it is, it's bad. Return it under the terms of the warranty. It sounds like a bad battery to me - possible even in a new device - and that would be included in the warranty.
