Why does the Note 2 play commercials with Blocking Mode on?

This has happened 3 times, twice between 1 AM and 3 AM. A commercial starts playing without prompting. The phone is charging overnight, Blocking Mode is on. Incidences were two weeks apart. Has not happened during the day.

Blocking mode doesn't prevent apps from doing their thing. You have some sort of app installed that is making those ads play. Go through your app list and see if you can figure out which one it is.
