Today I accidentally got a few drops of water on my screen, and immediately upon noticing i dried it with a towel. There is a tiny hairline crack that goes diagonally across my screen from a previous accident, and im afraid that water got through it. My phone functions normally, but now certain parts of the screen are unresponsive to touch.
I took the back off and the battery out and put it in dry rice, so hopefully it helps.

How long should i keep it in the rice, since there was barely any water in the first place? Im pretty frustrated due to the fact that my screen has been damp before but never got damage until now. This phone is my only form of communication right now, and i dont want to completely replace it or spend a fortune on fixing it so any advice would be appreciated.
