Why is NFC turning ON by itself?

Whenever I turn on the Bluetooth, I check that the NFC is turned off and it is. After a few minutes the NFC turns itself ON by itself. If I switch it OFF it will switch ON again without my intervention.

Welcome to Android Central! Which device? I wonder if some app you installed has NFC permission, and is turning it on. You could tell in general if it's a 3rd party app by booting into Safe Mode.
