Why is my WIFI so unstable after 5.0.1 update?

[AC Question]

After the update, my wifi will not stick. It is continually scanning, and flipping between "connected" and "authenticating". I have read the whole internet trying to find a solution, and have already tried every suggestion I can find, except a factory reset. Sometimes it seems to be stable for a few minutes, but then as soon as I try to turn an app on, such as Kindle, it starts turning on and off again.
Everything was working perfectly before the update.
What to do? Downgrade to Katkit?
Any ideas anybody?

Sounds like Motorola. My Nexus 6, has problem with ac 5Ghz channels. Change channel in router configuration.
