Deep sleep issues unrooted S6 edge

I've had my s6 edge for a few weeks now and it's not rooted. Most nights when I charge it to 100% I unplug it for the next morning(keeping your phone plugged in all the time isn't good). I used to do my Note 4 like that and would wake up to 96 percent after a 6 or 7 hour sleep. My s6 is completely drained after a few hours during my sleep. I keep hearing people having "deep sleep" battery issues on their rooted s6 but mine isn't rooted. This is frustrating.
