What hi-resolution audio formats do the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and S6 support?

FLAC is lossless so you won't get higher resolution than that. (The resolution of a given file will depend on the resolution it was recorded at, and you can't get better than the original.) And the Note 4 default player supports FLAC out of the box. So does the S6.

I can't find the equivalent fot the Note 4, but the S6 supports:
