Its a 64gig ScanSmart card and I was able to copy around 10 gig to the card and then it stopped working. It appears to be on the car and I can even play it on the phone until I unplug it from the computer. Has anyone seen this and if so how would I resolve it

Welcome to Android Central! SD cards can be finicky (or even counterfeit--run SD Insight to make sure it's legit). I've also found that saving a huge amount of data all at once to the SD card can increase the chance of data error, so I usually move files over in smaller batches. I also prefer to transfer files with the SD card physically inserted into the computer's SD reader, rather than inserted into the phone, and the phone connected to the computer via USB.

Thanks for the response. I have not run Insight so I'll try that. I have tried using the computer and doing it in smaller segments and still no luck. It's like it thinks it's full but the computer says 54 gig is available

That can happen if the card is counterfeit--e.g., it's a 4 GB card, but has been programmed to report that it's a 64 GB card.
