I've been having some trouble lately with my S5. I downloaded the latest update for Google play games and ever since I can't seem to play games with Google. Even when I go into the Google play games app it shoes a blank screen.

I have tried to clear cache, un-install and re-install Google play and play games, factory reset and nothing works.

I am not having any issues on my S3, which leads me to believe it may be something to do with compatability between my phone and Google?

Welcome to Android Central! When you did the factory reset, did old apps immediately start reinstalling? If so, it's still possible that some app that you've installed is causing some instability. Try doing another factory reset, but this time, after the Setup Wizard, go immediately to Play Store and stop any app installations that might be occurring. Now start installing your apps slowly, one by one, checking Google Play Games after each installation to see if it stops working.
