With my Rumor Flex (cheapie) phone it was not a problem. The notice on the Accord says that this phone does not support a phonebook download.

Welcome to Android Central! There can be some phone incompatibilities with car Bluetooth systems, although it would be unusual for such a common phone as the S3 to be incompatible.

Try this--open Contacts, tap Menu>Contacts To Display, and instead of selecting All, select Customize. Then select the groups you want to display on your app (which can still be all of your contacts). Now see if they transfer to the car. This is what I had to do with my Nexus 5 running Lollipop in a 2008 BMW--but since you have an S3 presumably running Jellybean, it might not work for you.
