Can't read emails not displayed

I have no list of email on my galaxy tab, it says I have them but won't display the sender.i have never had this problem before

Welcome to Android Central! Which email app, the stock Email? What shows up when you open that email account in the app?

You could try removing the account completely, then adding it back again. Open Email, tap Menu>Settings, select the email account and remove it. Then go through the process of adding it again.
