Anyone having problems charging a 2012 NExus 7 or a Nexus 4?

[AC Question]

I previously had a Nexus 4, and I currently have a Nexus 7. On the Nexus 4, it took a while but eventually almost all chargers began to slip out of the charging port. I recently got a used 2012 Nexus 7 tablet, and after two days, the cable that came with the tablet began to slide in and out of the port making it almost impossible to charge. Has anyone else had problems with either of these two devices?

Welcome to Android Central! I had a 2012 N7 for over a year (then lost it :'( ) and never had an issue. Has there been any kind of unusual torque or bending of the USB plug while inserted into the port? Is the tablet usually in a particular orientation while plugged in where the plug might be in an odd position?
