What is wrong with my HTC One (m7)?

So I dropped my phone recently in a bucket of water. I put in in a zip lock of rice and waited the next day. The next day, I was curious to see if it would charge ans surprisingly, the LED was red. I tried reboot it by holding the power and the volume button but it won't turn back on.
