Today my phone shut itself down and refused to power up. All it does is flash the initial welcome screen (Samsung Galaxy s5 Powered by Android) over and over again while vibrating. I have tried removing and reinserting the battery, removing the SD card, and removing the SIM card to no avail. I tried rebooting the phone in Safe Mode and it still would not turn on past the initial welcome screen. Finally I attempted a factory reset, but it only stopped the vibrating, speed up the flashing and added the words "RECOVERY BOOTING" in blue in the corner. It has been doing this for hours. What else can I do? Please help me!

Welcome to Android Central! Have you tried a new battery?

Have really had this problem for the last 13 Months? If you are not the OP please provide full info about the problem you have. Is it the same as the OP because that's an easy one. Thanks
