Earlier i updated my Asus ZenFone 4 (A400cg) from kitkat 4.4.2 to lollipop by downloading firmware from asus official site, UL-ASUS_T00I-WW-
i placed the file in the root directory and after the update the memory took by the file (780 mb) didn't clear up, i tried clean master and it was not able to free that space.
Upon searching the net i found that i need to clean the partition cache for which i need to enter the recovery mode, however i am unable to do so by pressing and holding the power and volume up key together the menu i get to has options

    Reboot DroidBoot
    SD Download
    Power Off
