Why does my cell phone cycle on and off every 10 seconds?

I have an older model Samsung Nexus Google phone. My carrier is Sprint. The phone just started turning on and off. It seems to be stuck in a cycle.

You might need to do a factory reset if you haven't done one in a while. Make sure to back up all your photos and files that you need.
