Since today morning, my Nexus 5 is not getting charged and not getting started. Only Google comes on screen every now and then. I have gone through all the posts and replies. When I press down volume button and power button simultaneously, I get an option for start, reboot and power off, but all options disappears in no time. How to choose power off or reboot?

I called LG Customer care. They say that its motherboard issue and it needs to be replaced .

    Please help with a workaround.

    Regards, Abhishek

Welcome to Android Central! Let it charge on wall outlet for at least 4-6 hours undisturbed, then try powering on again. If it still acts like that, then it could be a dying battery, or as LG mentioned, a faulty motherboard. If it's a dying battery, then you could try to replace it yourself (check YouTube for DIY videos). If it's a faulty motherboard, then there is no workaround besides replacing the motherboard.
