Why doesnt my usb driver does not read my samsung 4 upgraded v5 with lollipop?

After the upgrading to version 5 lollipop, my usb driver no longer reads my mobile. I can't even connect to kies as well. Why is that so?

You might need to factory reset the phone. The Lollipop update has been causing a lot of issues with a lot of devices. Most are resolved after a factory reset. Make sure to back up all your data. There are a lot of options outside of connecting to your PC for back up. Google Drive and Dropbox are both good.
