I used this phone with Verizon originally, but I've since switched to T-Mobile and now I use a T-Mobile sim card in my Verizon Moto X (2013). Will this affect future updates to my phone? I received a minor update a few weeks ago (not sure what it was before, but my phone is now Android version 4.4.4.)
I'm a little concerned because if I go to Settings -> About phone -> System updates, it says "System update available. Select to continue with update," but selecting it will bring up a screen that says, "Your device's software is up to date." Under "Status" on that screen it says, "Install deferred."
Any ideas if this will cause a problem with updates (say, in getting Lollipop)? And if so, is there anything I can do to remedy the problem?
