AC Question

Hello, I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and I am wanting to create new folders for my pictures. After I select qhich ones I want to move to the new folder after creating it and naming it, my phone says "File Name already exists" when it doesn't. Please help...

Welcome to Android Central! How are you creating the new folders? From within the Gallery app, or using My Files (or some other file manager app)?

I am trying to create the files in the gallery.

Someone else had this same issue recently. I'm trying to remember the fix for it.

One was to create a new album using My Files and creating it on the SD card.

The second way was to copy to album or move, a picture you already have, then choose create new. You can't have an empty folder in the gallery, so a picture has to be added in either scenario.
