How do I use associate each app with its own calendar?

I have personal and work calendars. I'd like to have one app associated with only one calendar (google) and another app associated with only one calendar (outlook). That way, I can open only the calendar I want to see by launching the correct app. How do I do this? From everything I tried, when I set show/hide calendars, it applies to every calendar app I have.

Have you tried the Microsoft outlook calendar? Then you can use the stock calendar for gmail.

My company blocks the Outlook app.

They use outlook but block the official Microsoft outlook app... Genius. Well there are several apps that associate with outlook. Since they're that into it to block apps from access I'd go to your IT dept and ask what works and see if you can exclude your Google account from that app.
