Can I listen to my I heart radio music on my bluetooth and still use the BT phone function?

Sorry for the stupid question but I'm new to smart phones. I drive truck and use a blue parrot BT. I know there's a "+" version available that works on music devices. What I'm wondering if my LG fuel (4.4) will let me listen to music and still use the head-set when a call comes in. I know if I run a speaker through the headphone port that the BT turns off the headphone/mutes it, but I'd like to keep multiple devices to a minimum. Thanks in advance
