Why Won't My Phone Recognize Transferred iTunes Music?

A

AC Question

I own a Samsung Galaxy Core Prime. I was trying to transfer music from iTunes on my PC to the phone. I followed what several websites suggested and plugged the phone into my PC, copied the music files on my PC onto the phone, and disconnected the phone. However, when I click on the music app, nothing appears. The amount of storage on my phone has decreased sizably, so I know the files are on the phone, but I don't know why I can't find them. I've tried restarting the phone, but that doesn't work.

Firstly, what happens when you open a different music app, like Google play music or the stock music player. Does the issue still persist? The problem could be the location of where you put the files. Make a folder named 'Music' on your internal storage or the SD card in your phone. Simply move the music files across to the 'Music' folder.
