My phone, a Note 4, received an update to 5.1.1 today from Verizon and never came back on. Technically I don't know if it came back on. It may have come back on and then died. I left alone while it was updating then I wasn't with it for a few hours and when I found it it was dead. It will not charge and will not power up. I have tried all the reset (holding buttons etc) advice online without any success. Does anyone have advice? I suppose I need to try a new battery... It could be just a problem with the battery (i know probably not). But if it is a charging issue, I could then see if it will boot in safe mode once it has some juice.
Should I take it to Verizon or is there a better place?
