Something's wrong with my screen?

Yesterday I kept my phone in my bra (which I know you're not supposed to do, blah blah.) and when I took it out, the screen was a little sweaty and gross and the phone was really hot. I cleaned the screen and let it sit for a long time. well, today certain parts of the screen won't work. I can't type some keys and it's hard to swipe. does anyone know what this is and what to do?

I wonder whether damage has been done by the dampness of perspiration getting into the phone....something that is also a slight worry to me in the summer months. Although putting the phone into dry rice is now deprecated as a method of drying a phone that has been dropped in water, in this instance, it may be enough. If you think it may have got damp inside, leave it in rice for a day or two, or longer if convenient.
On the other hand, it could simply be coincidental touchscreen failure.
