Is it possible to root and connect say 10 Galaxy S5 motherboards together?

AC Question

I worked as a phone technician for many years, but mostly mastered the hardware side of things. I was always fascinated with these tiny supercomputers and the ease of hooking them up and potential for networking many of them together. If you rooted and pulled main boards out of 10 Galaxy S5's could you program an Android or Linux operating system to control the group? It seems you could hook them all into one interface and run it from another phone. Im not sure how efficient you could make the device, but the availability of bad esn and broken devices seems like cheap way to start accumulating these tiny computers. Any advice on software to take control of a main board or hardware available to connect many together would be helpful.
