Is there a way to transfer everything (besides contacts) WITHOUT repairing the screen?

I just dropped/smashed my Galaxy s4 beyond recognition. I just picked up a new s6.
I have pictures, apps, music, etc that I want OFF that phone. Do I need to go fix the screen first? Can I plug a USB into a computer or some sort of online site/program?

Any options? I can go spend the $75 to fix the screen if I REALLY have to...but I'd much rather find a cheaper solution.

a contacts transfer app (i think moto has one) might be able to use nfc or bluetooth to transfer the contacts.

it's worth a shot at least
