Has anyone been have a random flickering screen? - New Pure Edition Moto X

[AC Question]

At times when I wake the phone and try to go to the home screen it would flicker like crazy. It stops when the home screen opens. Customer support had me do a safe mode check on all apps and a factory reset. That did not work. They are offering me a certified like new replacement. The phone is a little over 30 days since I have it.
